A Day Out in the Sun

My phone rang at 10am. It was kk. It has been quite a while since the last time I slept till so late. But because I slept at 4am the night before, I almost couldnt wake up for breakfast. So I quickly changed and waited for you all to come pick me.

We went for breakfast in Imbi. It was really hot, and you were sleepy cause you woke up at 8am. After that we all headed to KLCC. Once we reached, you were hyper active. Not sleepy anymore. You ran around, kk & pp were so happy to see you laughing. Then we went to the park, to snap some photo. It was really hot.

After that, you walked into chinoz, right to where we always sit. Hahah, the waiters & waitresses didnt know what to do then, just laughed and was puzzled why suddenly such a young customer appeared at their restaurant. hehe. I watched you from behind, so funny...

Then we went off. Did some shopping while you ran around. Soon you used up all your energy, slept so soundly in your stroller.

a.aud called. She was in chinoz with lil lauren and a.rena. We all went over to meet her. Lauren wanted so much to play with you, but you were asleep. We sat there for a good hour & a half, you were still sleeping. Soon we all left and you only woke up when we reached home.

Sweet Aunties

Yesterday after playing with you for a solid 2hours, mummy & daddy met up with a.aud, a.vp, u.kl, a.sin & u.johnny in plaza damas.

Before I sat down, all 3 aunties passed me a bag. Wow, everything for you, so sweet.

Tiring Sunday Morning

AT HOME
You always wake me up by crawling on to my chest to sleep. Hehehe, so sweet. You then lie on your side of the bed and look at me, touching my eyes and face and mumble. I have to reply you by mumbling to you and we would end up laughing.

Early morning I gave a.vp FIFTEEN (just kidding) miss calls. So I had to call u.kl. It was surprising that they were still in bed, as they normally would be in the gym already. So, we decided to meet in Taiwan Porridge in Imbi. They were closed, so u.kl suggested a BKT.

THE BRUNCH
When we reached, I saw a.vp carrying reeve, wearing a bbush tshirt that was so familiar. At first glance, I thought you were both wearing the same, but nope, very similar though. I will post the picture asap. Where is my DIL???? Still sleeping? Nevermind, reeve is fine - he has grown to be like his sis.

For the whole meal, he was saying "mum mum, makan, uncle, maybe a bit of aunty". He was calling for UNCLE so loud and so many times. Hehehe, that reminded me of renee. I remember when renee was young, she loved daddy. I dont know why. They somehow click. As for me, slim chance even with reeve. Sigh.

After that we went to the park, just a small one outside the restaurant, but we had a great 10 minutes there. Daddy was carrying reeve, u.kl was carrying you while both mothers followed from behind. Hahah, it's nice - really.

KLCC
While we were looking at clothes, the 2 of you were running around. Hahah, it's nice to see you finally play with reeve. Both of you dont normally play with each other. This time, you went over to pat his shoulder when you see him standing in front of the mirror. Then began running around, hiding in between the clothes, peeping thru the drawers.

Then I (for once) trusted you in daddy's hands. While, a.vp & I continue our shopping spree, the 2 fathers brought the 2 kids out to the sun. After about 15 minutes, daddy called. I quickly met him in Chinoz. Nothing happened, just that he was tired & lazy.

You walked to the side exit, wanting to go out, while I sat and looked at you. The waiter didnt allow you to go out. Then you pointed at the main entrance asking him if you can exit from there. Hahaha, then you walked towards it. I followed you.

After a while, we left Chinoz and walked a little. a.vp hold reeve to sleep. Not for long he fell asleep in her arms then on your pram. You sat in reeve's mclaren and soon fell asleep also. We left...

THE PARK
At 515pm, I asked daddy to bring us to the park again. Hehehe, you loved it.

Saturday

After having prisoned for 4 days (cause kk was sick, so pp didnt bring you out to the market), I thought I can bring you out for the weekend. Unfortunately, kk passed it down to you. You had slight flu. Sigh... but that didnt stop you from being active. You were still running around, climbing up & down in the office.

We left for home. You slept on the way. You couldnt sleep well, I guess your nose's blocked. Poor child, I asked daddy to bring you to the clinic. You were so obedient in front of the doctor, quite unusual.

Then we went to shop for pp's mother's day gift. We bought 2 same mobile phones for pp & mahmah. Then off we went to the park outside our house. It was really nice and big, the best thing is - it's new & clean. You were running up and down the tunnel slide. We were laughing so much. It's really a great family time. Daddy & I promised you that we will bring you there every weekend.

Then came the night. We went to pick kk & pp. Once in the car, you slept. Guess might be the medication. The 4 of us went for a fairly nice dinner in Ying Ker (Hakka Restaurant), The Curve. You woke up after dinner and started running around. Running into every shop. Soon we left for home.

We dropped kk & pp. You cried, wanting to follow them home. But dear, we are also going home. I kept on telling you, "we're going back to our house". You start crying once a while before we finally reach home... You are definitely a homey-person, just like your mummy.

Yesterday on the way home, I made a turn into the bakery outside our house. Bought a pretty fruit cake. It sure looks yummy.

I reached home, opened the doors and hear my precious' voice. You quickly rushed to me like any other day, but this time was not for my hug - for the cake. You wanted it so badly. I kept on saying "it's jj's, we have to wait for him to come back". You insisted, so I opened the cake for you to see - just a glance. And that was not enough, you closed the box to take the candle.

Sigh, I told you to wait again and quickly put the cake back in the fridge.

After dinner, I took out the cake. You were so happy. But dear boy, it's not your birthday. jj put the cake right in front of you. As we were singing, you clapped your hands. Can see that jj was a little shy though. Hahaha, having cakes and singing birthday songs to him. But I have decided, everyone's birthday I'm gonna buy a cake... for your sake!!! After the song, you gave jj a big hug.

Lauren's 1st

The Arrival
You slept on the way there. a.aud offered you her room... I didnt wanna waste time. I quickly grabbed a bite before you wake up. One by one all the guest arrived. a.aud passed me her camera, hahaha, she definitely can trust me, but I think I didnt do good enough though.

The Get Together
It's always a great time that we parents get together and talk during parties. We all shared a lot. We took pictures of kids and ourselves (whopps, usually i dun appear much cause i'm always holding the camera). It was really hot I had to change. Thank god a.vp brought an extra t-shirt.

The Ball Pool
You woke up, and first thing was - going into the ball pool. a.aud was so thoughtful, the ball pool was really great. The kids loved it. It was big enuff to fit all the kids plus 2 maids & u.kwailo. You were laughing so much. Davin, Daren, Renee, Reeve, Belen, Ruey and you were all in there, but where's the birthday girl? She was busy entertaining her guests. Happy & enjoying.

The Party Pack
Half way through the chat, a.aud came out with a big bag like a santa claus, giving out the party packs. Hehe, nice nice. You asked kakak to open it for you and started playing with those things.

The Cake Cutting
We all went to the cake. The cake was so beautiful. I starting snapping the precious moments. The happy family, but lil' Lauren was more interested in the cake than all these photo sessions. I quickly hold u and went next to the birthday girl & her mummy. We had our all-mother & baby photo. Then all the kids demanded for the elephant icing deco. But sure, u.billy gave it to his favorite girl - Renee. Hahaha, I asked for the piggie for you.

You took a bite, but was too sweet to swallow. Then we thank a.aud & u.billy for the nice party, we left early cause we had to send mahmah home.

Mother's Day Gift

I made daddy give me a gift for every Mother's Day until the day you can afford to buy for me yourself. And hahaha, this time he bought me something I longed for - a camera.

Early this morning, we went for a beautiful breakfast with pp, kk, jj, pauline.cc, heong.yp & james.yk in Imbi Palace. Thank god they gave us a room, where you can run around. After the breakfast, everyone made their own plans. We went to Lot10 - sms-ed a.vp & a.aud. They were both not free yet. We walked around, you were so happy running around in the complex.
We went to see camera. Yes yes, thanks to daddy, he finally got me a brand new nikon camera. And it's red - my favorite color. Nice, I only hope it works as good as my old canon. We shall see and I'm looking forward to taking more & more perfect photos for you...



p/s. after waking up from your nap, you were playing around the room. then you heard daddy snored. so i asked you "rayern, how daddy sleep ah?". you replied "ngorrr ngorr (the sound of snoring)... Hahaha

The Weekend

Saturday
Daddy had to bring you out for lunch, cause he hasnt seen you for 5 days. After about 3 hours out, we finally reached home. a.penny, a.is & u.gary came, followed by jj & pauline.cc. After you woke up, you played with a.is & pauline.cc while I slept.

We then went for dinner with all of them, and a.sin called saying she will join us. In the restaurant you were so happy chasing ying2 around. We went home and chatted a while.

I brought you up to bed. You watched tv as usual. Then you turned about a million times, searching for the right comfortable spot. You did. You finally climbed up to my chest and fell asleep. Wow, I was so glad...

Sunday
After lunch, we went to Bangsar Shopping Complex. We were in Times Bookstore before a.vp called me. We went down the escalator, I heard someone calling me from across the mall. It was the little sweetie and her mummy & daddy. We went for some drinks. Then I brought you and renee to the kid's gym. You loved it.

On the way to the car park, renee held my hand "a.joanne, i go your house" She always loved our house. She didnt let go my hand. After a.vp brought her to the car, I heard her crying so loud. She ended up in our car, going back to our house.

We met up for dinner. Reeve & you finally found the way to communicate. You guys never really click, but today (after the kiss in belen's house), you guys exchanged stares...

Birthday Summary

We reached belen's house at around 530pm. You gave the present to her and got back a hug. So sweet, she was like a little princess. We talked to belen's pp & aunties for a while before we went out to the sand art section. Both reeve & you were too short. So a.janie & I helped ourselves to decorate the art.

I asked kakak to feed you first, while I joined those 3/4 years old kids. After about 15 minutes, I had my masterpiece done. So I joined a.janie, reeve, you, both kakaks at the dining table. Then soon enough, a.sin & ying2 arrived.

From far I saw a guy in colorful attire. IT's THE CLOWN. All the kids rushed over. You hung on to me - tight. I knew you were afraid, but I assured you it's ok. He is just a clown. Then you went over to get a balloon from him. After all the kids got their balloons, the magic show starts. You sat there obdiently concentrating on the clown. Not many kids would pay so much attention.

Anyway, as it was getting a little late, a.desi called for the cake cutting. Wow, nice cake. I didnt really see what was happening as I was too busy holding 2 cameras. I just snapped n snapped. I dunno why when it comes to real birthdays, you stare quietly, unlike at home, where you hum and clap and blow the candles.

After having a big piece of cake, it was time to say goodbye. All the kids lined up to get their "party packs" - it was a Precious Moments tumbler plus 3 chocolates. So sweet and thoughtful. You were so tired in the car, but I stopped you from sleeping as we had another dinner to attend.

A Full Fun Day

Usually I would sleep till late on public holidays, but I woke up early. We had breakfast with kk, pp & jj. Then we went to klcc. We walked around, waited for renee, a.vp & u.kl. After seeing them for a minute, you fell asleep.

We headed to Chinoz. Soon the 3rd Yap family arrived. You woke up. Hehehe, after having 2 bread rolls, you started running around playing with ying2 & renee. Then I got up, took my ever-ready camera and brought you kids out.

Once out there, you were so happy. Daddy & jayden (with his maid) stayed under the shade while I went out with you all under the bright sunlight. Seeing them there, you waved asking them to join us. You like company. Then you ran around with renee & ying2. The 3 of you sat on the steps so obediently waiting for me to snap photos. I got perfect shots.

Then I decided to bring you guys in before we end up being bbq-ed. I didnt even get to sit and chat with them for 10 minutes. Not only you but renee also came to pull me out. Hahaha, ok ok. I went out with you guys, but this time I brought a.vp & a.sin with me. You asked them to join us, but they just cant stand the hot burning sun.

Soon we left for the office. Then we went to buy your milk & diapers. You fell asleep in the car and only woke up at 730pm for dinner.

My Territory

After work, I called a.vp, reminding her that we were waiting for her for dinner. Before their arrival, we walked a bit in the garden. When k.yati washed my car, you ran towards her, wanting to play with the hose. She gave it to you and you helped her wash. At times you would pretend to spray the water at kk, pp & me. Hahaha.

At around 615pm, I saw a.vp's car from far. I went out to welcome our guest. I held renee, first thing she asked was "ray ern kung kung leh?" Wow, I told a.vp and we laughed. Then you came out, you looked at renee - dear boy, you havent seen her for 3 weeks, and she seemed like a lil stranger to you. Within seconds, you caught your thoughts, you held out your hands welcoming her.

So we went up. You invited renee into your playroom. Hahaha, so cute. As if you knew it was your house, you wanna show renee around. You made sure she followed you from behind. When you guys reached the room, you guys were so happy. We went down for a delicious dinner. Haha, after that, a.vp & I sat there with jj & kk watching our precious little ones enjoying themselves.

Then we mothers went out for a while leaving you two under the supervision of pp & both kakaks.

When we returned home, renee & you were watching tv. We both hugged you 2. Then we went up to jj's room. So fun. You were so happy that renee was there. It has been quite a while since you met up with your lil friends. You know you have guests in your territory...

Soon we left for supper, leaving my precious boy behind in tears... Dont worry, mummy will bring you out for breakfast tomorrow. Love ya.

Mickey On Ice

I woke up early this morning to prepare everything. I woke u up and bathe u. Then quickly went down and fed you your breakfast. I packed everything and left to pick a.desi & belen.

We stopped at McDonalds for our breakfast. Then we left for Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil. Wow, really nice, it has been a long time since I last went for any concerts. You were so happy running around. I brought out the videocam.

There were so many 'Mickey' merchandises, but we were already late. We went in, daddy was carrying you, it was really dark, you were afraid, you sobbed a little. I quickly hold you. Thank god, I managed to calm you down later.

You sat on my lap. Then daddy wanted to carry you. So you sat with him for a whole good hour. I paid attention on you more than the show. Not to say that the show is no good, but seeing you laugh, seeing you clap to the songs, seeing you cheer worth a million.

Thank god, I brought you here. Lots of people say I'm mad to bring you there at this age. They say you dont understand. You do, you did understand what they were doing.

When nemo comes out, you say "ish ish". When you see them dance to the song, you clapped. When you see them leaving the stage, you waved good bye. When they leave, they would cheer. Hehehe... You cheered so loud, u.rodney who sat in front, looked back.

At that time I thought, I can bring you into the cinema. Hahaha, you concentrated so much.

Remember mummy told you, you were obsessed to watching dvd? Yes you still are. Although I have added so many varieties to your collection, you still loved the shark's tale & madagascar.

Yesterday while we were playing, I thought of vp & renee. I remembered vp asking renee to sing madagascar - i wanna move it move it, and renee really loved singing it.

So I sang the song. You looked at me and laughed. Everytime I sang the verse, you would stand up and laugh and dance. You danced and moved your hands front and back. Hahaha, it was so so funny, all of us laughed.

Hahaha, thanks to your beloved honey wife, you learnt her way of dancing!!!

Obsessed

I think about 2 months ago, I bought you 2 dvds - Shark's Tale & Madagascar (under the influence of renee). In the beginning, you dont seemed to be interested in both of these.
As time flies, you grew to love them, especially the Shark's Tale (you always loved fish).

Since then, you have been wanting to watch these dvds so often. I think for the past 1 week, I have watched the repeat of this 2 for at least twenty times. Even daddy was complaining. pp told me she can tell me which fish swam out from which angle. hhahaha.

It has became so bad, that the moment you open your eyes, you would point at the tv and say "ish ish ish ish" Wow... You are so obsessed to it. And everytime, I would on it and watch it with you. Sometimes I really wonder whether you actually understand what's going on. You do, when the whale screamed, you would pat on your chest telling me you are scared...

In order to make things easier for me, I bought you another 2 dvds - Finding Nemo & Lion King. Hmm... I think I will have the whole collection of animations before you are 2.

The Masterpiece

I have been trying to let you draw scribble. Everytime you scribble on the paper, I'll draw a fish, sometimes a cat, stars & sun. About 3 weeks ago, while you were in the office, I gave you paper and a marker pen. Then you pointed at your paper and started saying "ish, ish, ish, ish, ish"

I didnt understand what. Then again, I realised you were trying to tell me that you drew a fish. Hahahaha, I laughed and thought to myself, my little boy is so clever.

Anyway, I wanted to share with you all. So I got him to draw another one. I took a picture and posted it here.

Well, my dearest ray ern, although this looked nothing like a fish, to me it's a MASTERPIECE!!

Blow the Candles

You were in the office almost the whole day. pp needed a new hair style, so she dropped you here and off she went to the salon. So I drove you out for a ride. I went to this bakery, I saw a fairly cute cake. It's about 6" in diameter. So cute, I bought it. You kept on pointing at the cake in the car. Dear you have to wait till we get back to the office.

When we reached the office, I took it out and sang happy birthday. You clapped your hands (you do that everytime you hear this song), and when the song ended, you blew the cake. Hahaha...

We'll have to wait another 7 months before you can really blow tha candles... So cute.

I know you are trying to speak these days. You have been "eee aaa ooo-ing" all these while. It seemed like you were talking to me - in your baby language. Daddy said I'm mad to talk to you. Well, I told him, it's our language. I understand.... deep inside.

Callin' You

I like this picture of you & daddy. I took this for you while waiting for the other 2 yaps family to come last Sunday in KLCC. Daddy smiled so widely and your yawn is so adorable.

Oh I have been making so many calls back home everyday at work since the day you called me. I asked pp to pass you the phone and pp will say call mummy, "mmmmaa". Then I will laugh so much in the office until kk looked at me.

Daddy is getting envious, or should I say jealous. Everyday, he comes home to see you and will ask you to call daddy. But my dearest boy will end up calling "mmmmaa". I know you'll soon start to call daddy, pp, kk & jj.... Just be patient!!!

This is just a new bag daddy bought for you, and you loved it.

At Last....

After I went home to bathe, daddy sent me back to pp's house. I called out for you, I heard kk said "Ehh... mummy wo, call mummy la. maa mee..." Then I heard your sweet voice yelling "mmmma" I was so so happy, I thought it was just another word but when I went up to you, I said "RayErn, call mummy" You replied, "mmmma" emphasizing on the mmm....

Oh god, I was so so happy. You have been learning things so fast, but when it comes to talking, you are really slow. My heart really melted. Well, people might find me crazy saying this, but having your own son calling you, it's better than winning a 20 million dollar lottery.

Yesterday & Today

What happened for the past 2 days???

1) after dinner we went to 1u. you were so happy. once we let you walk, you started going everywhere. u were so happy when we brought you to toys'r'us. you went all around the store. you didnt wanna leave the store. kk & pp said you were so active running around, they say they cannot tahan you. hehehe.

2) i brought you up to bed, as usual you wanna watch your tv. you slept only after 1 1/2 hours.

3) this morning you woke up at 8, that was early. then we went for lunch with mah mah and all. we met reeve and half of his family. his yaya & amd said you were handsome - just like their reeve boy. hehehe, then we waved goodbye, you wanted to give reeve a byebye kiss, but he rejected shyly.

4) we met the other 2 yaps family in klcc chinoz. a.aud & u.billy didnt join us cause lil lauren had high fever. poor thing, but a.aud assured me that she was getting better. while the parents were talking, you ran all around. you ran out of chinoz to the park. you loved the park so much... you laughed so much. i brought you & renee out. both of you were running around. everytime i bring you into the restaurant, you'll make your way out to the park. hehehe. then you wanted me to carry you around, you didnt want daddy to carry. poor thing daddy. ohh, i almost forgot you gave renee a swimsuit the moment we went into mother's care.... hehehe naughty boy...

5) we left, you slept in the car, and still sleeping while i'm writing this. kk just called for dinner...
